Please contact us for a demonstration, and we will try our best to provide you with a demonstration of the full capacity of our beautiful machine.

Q03. What is the standard warranty terms?

RØST Coffee AS warrants the Product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for the warranty period of 1 year. The Warranty does not cover bundled accessories, which were delivered together with the Product. If the Product fails during normal and proper use within the warranty period, RØST Coffee AS will repair or replace the defective parts of the product, or the product itself, with new or reconditioned parts or products that are functionally equivalent or superior to those originally supplied.

Q04. Where is it made?

RØST Sample Roasters are designed, engineered and manufactured in Norway, with the highest quality control.

Q05. Whats the 30 day money back guarantee?

When you purchase the ROEST Sample Roaster it comes with a 30 day money back guarantee – so if for any reason you decide the roaster isn’t what you’re looking for, you can return the roaster to us, and we will refund your purchase. Any items damaged due to reasons not covered under warranty cannot be accepted back for refund under our 30 Day Money Back Guarantee. Also, associated shipping fees are not refundable.

Q06. What´s the price for making a reservation?

You pay a 250 Euro (refundable) deposit for the reservation.

Q07. When do you expect to ship outside of Europe?

The European market can expect delivery by the end of Summer 2018. We can not guarantee exactly when the product is ready for delivery outside Europe, but hopefully it will be during the end of 2018.

Q08. How do I handle the payment?

It is up to your preference if you choose to pay with PayPal or credit card.

Technical Questions

Q01. What is the power supply requirements?

Voltage range: 170 ~ 264VAC.

Frequency rane: 47 ~ 63Hz.

Power consumption: max. 1750 Watt

We are working on implementing voltage range: 85 ~ 132VAC.

We highly recommend using a grounded electrical outlet.

Q02. What is the capacity?

The capacity of the roaster is maximum 120 grams, but we highly recommend 100 grams as the optimal size.

Q03. How long does a typical roast take?

We give the user total control of the roasting time, and it can be as quick as a 3 minute roast.

Q04. Is it a drum roast?

Yes and No. We have combined the best from both the fluid bed and drum roaster into our design. We use hot air as the main heat source, but we do not use air to move the coffee beans around. So, as a user you are free to manipulate the airflow without any compromise.

Q05. Do you need ventilation?

We strongly recommend connecting a ventilation ducting to the outlet from the back of the machine, to collect all fumes from the roasting process.

Q06. Does the machine come in different materials?

We can customize part of the roaster for your need, and preference. Contact us for a quotation.

Q08. Do you need an app to control the process?

No. Monitoring, comparison and profile design can be done on any laptop/tablet via a web browser. All our roasters operate independently, and can be controlled directly via the 5" touch screen combined with the rotary encoder knob.

Q9. How do you clean the machine?

The machine is designed to be easy to clean. You have access to the main fans from the back of the machine. Chaff is collected in a special drawer that can be easily accessed. By removing 4 screws on top of the machine you have access to the ventilation.
