Our story
In the coffee-loving heart of Norway, ROEST was founded with a bold vision: to redefine specialty coffee roasting using advanced technology. United by a shared passion for coffee, our team wanted to address a problem every roaster knows too well: achieving consistency, roast after roast.
2014 - The beginning
The mission
Helping coffee people make (even) better coffee.
Our mission was clear— to make a roaster that could adapt and respond to the coffee itself. We envisioned a machine that embraced the art and science of roasting with unmatched precision, one that allowed coffee people to achieve flawless results every time.
The breakthrough
Setting new standards in coffee roasting.
After countless prototypes, our first sample roaster was launched, designed to "listen" to the beans, learn from the process, and put the roaster in full control. Coffee professionals quickly saw the value of smart tech in roasting, leading to an enthusiastic reception within the specialty coffee community.
