Two P3000 add-ons are in the works
Below is an example of the full setup with the Afterburner and Automated Feeder.
Automated Feeder
The Automated Feeder is designed to sit on the ground to reduce the amount of lifting and weighing of beans the roaster has to do. It automatically weighs out batches with high precision, and then uses a vacuum to load the beans into the hopper of the P3000. This enables full automation of the roasting process—from a sack of green coffee, to roasted beans in a bucket. (Measurements are in mm.)
Afterburner
The Afterburner cuts emissions while using far less energy than conventional designs. It features a platinum-based catalyst that converts particles, odors, and VOCs in the exhaust into harmless carbon dioxide and water. It communicates directly with the P3000 roaster, adjusting its energy use in real-time based on roasting conditions—lowering operating costs and supporting more sustainable roasting.
