About Fuglen

Fuglen (“The Bird” in Norwegian) is founded in Oslo in 1963 as a coffee shop called Kaffefuglen. It grows into a global brand while keeping its roots. Coffee and tea remain central. When the bar reopens as Fuglen in 2012, original elements like the 1963 bar and wallpaper are kept, with updated mid-century furnishings. Each Fuglen branch reflects the Oslo original. With locations in Oslo, Tokyo, Seoul, and Jakarta, Fuglen connects Norwegian heritage with global coffee culture.
