We’re excited to welcome Roger Gonzalez Zapata, founder of Los Cafés del Arriero (LCDA), to the brew bar at World of Coffee Brussels. Roger has been roasting on ROEST sample roasters for many years, roasting every single batch manually!
Roger will be brewing coffees from Wilder Lazo and his brother Heiner, grown at Bella Alejandría and La Dinastía in San Adolfo, Huila (Colombia). Expect LCDA favourites like Lady Gesha, Maragesha, Chiroso, and Bourbon Sidra, as well as other limited lots from the new harvest. Several of these coffees have featured on international competition stages, and this is a rare chance to taste them side by side in a complimentary brewing service at the ROEST stand — definitely one to catch.
Date: Thursday, June 25, 2026
Time: 2:30pm - 3:30pm
Location: Booth #11355

About Roger González Zapata
Roger González Zapata is the founder of Los Cafés del Arriero (LCDA), an independent Colombian green coffee importer based in Dublin. A licensed Q Arabica Grader, Roger focuses on closing the gap between farm and roastery through transparent sourcing, rigorous quality control, and practical support for roasters.
All our coffees have been profiled and roasted on the ROEST L200 Ultra—the same roaster Wilder Lazo uses on his farm—enabling us to develop repeatable roast profiles that translate consistently and precisely from origin to Europe.
