Scott Rao is a coffee consultant, author of several books about coffee, including Coffee Roasting: Best Practices, and co-founder of Prodigal Coffee in Boulder, Colorado. Scott has had a huge influence on a generation of roasters, coining terms like "development time ratio" and "between-batch protocol." Scott has been working with Roest for a few years and uses the L100 Ultra and P3000 at Prodigal.
