About Ibrahim Al Mallouhi
Ibrahim Al Mallouhi is an Emirati entrepreneur and a true coffee sommelier at heart. For him, The Espresso Lab was never just a business, but a belief shaped by passion, courage and an uncompromising promise of quality to himself and his team.
As pioneer in the specialty coffee industry, Ibrahim has played a key role in elevating coffee culture in the UAE and beyond. His journey is defined by intention, excellence, and deep respect for origin. In 2025, he proudly became the first Emirati international judge at the Best of Panama, marking another milestone in his commitment to representing the UAE on the world coffee stage.

Fajar Maulana Fikri is the Director of Coffee at The Espresso Lab. With a strong background in brew bar development and sensory quality, he earned 3rd Place at the Indonesia Brewers Cup (IBrC) 2022. Fajar is known for his thoughtful brewing style and dedication to delivering exceptional coffee experiences.
